Welcome to RARS Lumle

 Regional Agricultural Research Station, Lumle (RARS, Lumle) was founded initially as Lumle Agricultural Training Centre in 1968. It was responsible for the training of retiring personnel from the Gurkha Regiments of the British Army, in improved agricultural technologies, which could be implemented by them on returning to their villages in the hill districts of Nepal.
